Educational Resources

The West Virginia Chesapeake Bay Program believes that education is the foundation of protecting and serving the Chesapeake Bay and beyond. From a formal school setting to informal meetings and workshops, the West Virginia Chesapeake Bay Program believes that through education, a greater understanding of the importance of protecting our waterways and natural resources will reach a greater population. Several hands-on educational resources are available for use in classrooms, meetings, festivals, and more. The majority of the models are available for your use so that you can teach the lessons yourself.

There are several environmental literacy course books available. Teachers and educators can complete a training course and once certified, will receive a book which contains lesson plans and lesson extensions on a variety of environmental topics.
